CPR Certification Courses:
Our CPR courses follows the American Heart Association guidelines and curriculum. The course covers risk factors of cardiovascular disease and stroke, signs, and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke, performing CPR on adults, children, and infants as well as training on how to remove a foreign body airway obstruction. A two-year certification card is issued upon the successful completion of the course. First Aid Training
This first aid course follows the American Heart Association curriculum. The course discusses
general principles, medical emergencies as well as injury emergencies. An elective module is also
available in environmental emergencies. First aid training is required by many places of business
often fulfilling OSHA or state requirements. It is recommended to take this class in combination
with cpr and aed training. Students can choose to take one of the two following first aid courses
offered by the American Heart Association:
Adult First Aid Training
The adult first aid course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a first
aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including:
- Security and airline personnel
- Construction contractors/workers
- Industry/factory workers
- Camp counselors
- Police and firefighters
- Teachers and day-care workers
- Aerobics teachers/physical-fitness trainers
- Other individuals who want or need first-aid training

Pediatric First Aid Training
This course is specially designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting
state-specific requirements. Backed by comprehensive state-by-state research, it meets the
regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child-care workers in all 50 states.
The pediatric first aid course is intended for all individuals involved in child care who have a
duty to respond to a cardiac emergency involving a child, including:
- Child-care and foster-care workers
- Teachers
- Recreation and other community program staff
- Camp counselors
- Sports coaches and trainers
- New parents, guardians, and other caretakers
Along with the general, medical and injury emergencies covered in the class, there are also
optional pediatric first aid modules which include: Pediatric first aid topics, including eye
injuries; fever; suspected abuse; and snake, spider, scorpion, tick, and marine animal bites and
stings.
